Integrity. Reliability. Knowledge.
Our Family Name Stands Behind Our Work.

When you take pride in what you do, you're willing to put your name behind it.

Michigan Condominium Corporation, founded nearly four decades ago, agrees. Peter J. Cubba, who founded the firm, is a nationally recognized leader in the development, sales and management of condominiums. And he proudly puts his family name on everything he does.

Today, Michigan Condominium Corporation is the landmark company in the state that is primarily focused on newly built, conversion properties and the sale of individually owned condominium homes. According to a Professional Builder survey in April 2000, Michigan Condominium Corporation ranked 364th in the nation, with total housing revenue of more than $27 million with well over 250 resident closings.

The secret? A consistent blend of integrity and reliability, backed by the Cubba family name.

Peter J. Cubba, a graduate of the University of Detroit with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and licensed real estate broker, began his real estate career as an associate with Ecclestone Construction Company in 1964. Two years later, he began working on the first condominium conversion in Michigan.

It was around this time that the metro Detroit market experienced a boom in rental units. Recognizing the opportunity for transforming apartment complexes into condominium communities, Cubba formed the Michigan Condominium Corporation in 1968 and quickly dominated the emerging condominium market. Only 13 condominium properties were developed that year in Michigan — 11 of them by Cubba.

For more than 30 years, Cubba and the Michigan Condominium Corporation have continued to be the main force in Michigan for converting apartments to condominiums. To date, Cubba has been involved with more than 17,000 condominium homes and expanded to include properties in Texas, Connecticut and Florida. From 1976 to 1978, he offered his expertise and skills by serving on the Michigan Governor's task force to revise the condominium act for the State of Michigan.

The success of Cubba's initial concept has led to the creation of three unique firms — Michigan Condominium Management, Michigan Condominium Development Corporation and Michigan Realty.

These companies, created with related and complementary objectives, are unified under one mission — to provide the very best in condominium living at the most affordable prices.

"We find the property because we have a realty company," says Cubba. "Then we develop and sell it through our condominium corporation, and we operate it through our management company."

Mr. Cubba is not alone in his efforts. To help run his four companies, he relies on the skilled support of his son Stephan and his daughter Jill Alyce.
